Information We Collect

To provide a seamless experience, we collect only the necessary information from your Google account when you authenticate using Google OAuth:

Basic Profile Information
Your name and email address to identify you and manage your account across the PeopleLabs platform.
Google Drive Permissions
We request permission to access your Google Drive files. This is used exclusively to allow you to browse, select, and upload your resume directly from Drive to our application.
Usage Data
Anonymised interaction data (page views, feature usage) to help us improve our products and model performance over time.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

Account Management
Creating and maintaining your account, managing sessions and access control.
Secure Authentication
Verifying your identity through Google OAuth and keeping your account safe.
Resume Submission
Facilitating cloud-based resume uploads from Drive directly into our hiring pipeline.
Product Improvement
Using anonymised data to retrain and improve our proprietary AI models over time.
We treat your data with the highest level of confidentiality. We will never use your Google data for purposes other than those specified here without obtaining your explicit consent.

Data Storage & Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Your data is stored on AWS servers in the N. Virginia region with encryption at rest and in transit.
Minimal Retention
Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by applicable law.
No data selling — ever. Your personal information is never sold, rented, or traded to advertisers or third-party data brokers.

Google API Compliance

Our application adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request access to the Google user data that is strictly necessary for the purpose of our application.

Limited Use Compliance
We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalised AI or ML models outside the scope of our application.
No Unauthorised Sharing
Google user data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, with prior consent, or as required by law.
Minimum Necessary Scopes
We request only the OAuth scopes absolutely required for resume upload functionality — nothing more.
